An Important award from AFI to ERNESTO GAMBERINI and MG2
We are very proud to announce that AFI (Associazione Farmaceutici Industria) vested Ernesto Gamberini and MG2 with an important award.
AFI is an Italian Scientific Society, the main reference for graduates working in pharmaceutical and/or parapharmaceutical industries, Universities, Scientific Institutes, Public Agencies and suppliers of products and services for the pharmaceutical and parapharmaceutical sector.
During the annual Symposium, which took place in Rimini from the 9th to the 11th of June 2010, AFI celebrated the 50th anniversary of its activity; on that occasion, AFI rewarded MG2, who has been operating for 44 years in the Italian and international scenario, reaching considerable successes.

It is a new Plug&Play capsule filling machine, modular, simple and compact but fully automatic, ideal for R&D laboratories, clinical trials, small batch outputs and special productions. Configured for a production speed up to 3.500 cps/h, it is based on the same functioning principles as high speed machines, keeping in that way the productions scale-up possibilities. By simply replacing or adding modules, it will be able to dose:

- MICRODOSE
It’s a new powder micro-dosing unit fitted with micro-weighing control system, suitable to fill powder checking the net mass and to stop once the set dosing mass has been achieved. It will be suitable to handle all kinds of powder, including API without excipients or bulking agents. Ideal to carry out dosing weights from 0,5 mg. up to 20 mg, on demand it will also be able to fill completely the capsule without compactation but with dosage micro- checking. It could be used as a manual stand-alone unit or as a dosing unit to be fitted on machines Mod. LABBY and PLANETA, with production speeds from 500 up to 3.000 cps/h, depending on the configuration.
